Overview
Since 1989, the New Hanover-Pender County Medical Society has awarded an annual premedical scholarship to a University of North Carolina Wilmington student preparing for a career in medicine. In recognition of her 40 years of leadership and service as Executive Director, the scholarship was renamed the Bonnie Jeffreys Brown Premedical Scholarship.
Through this scholarship, NHPCMS is proud to invest in the next generation of physicians and support students who will one day serve our community with skill and compassion.
